Like all CHD clinics, those in Lausanne have been certified as members of the “Slow Dentistry Global Network“, a worldwide label belonging to the Foundation for Excellence in Dentistry, which rewards dental clinics that aim to offer care and services of the highest quality standards. CHD Lausanne is one of only 3 clinics in Switzerland to have been awarded this label. So don’t be surprised if we prefer to take our time with you, rather than chasing after patients all day long!

The history of CHD
CHD was created in 2016 in Geneva by 3 partners: Thainara, Sofian, and Robin, i.e. a dental assistant and two dentists, and above all 3 friends!
After starting our business with just 5 employees, we are very proud to have hired our 100th employee in 2023, in a team spread over 6 sites in Geneva, Meyrin, Lausanne and Yverdon.
We wanted to create warm places where hygiene and prevention play a central role in patient care, and where everyone can find their place and feel confident, without judgement.
Clinics where we don’t charge excessive prices, and where we don’t sell off on the quality of the care we provide. We didn’t want to be low-cost, but rather affordable “Made in Switzerland” in a totally new environment!

How long does it take to get an appointment at Lausanne’s CHD?
The minimum waiting time for an appointment at Clinique Hygiène Dentaire is 3 days on average. We do everything in our Lausanne offices to make your treatment as easy as possible:
Extended opening hours from 7h to 21h. on weekdays and 8h to 17h on Saturdays,
Consultations with surgical and orthodontic specialists in Lausanne until 21h,
Waiting list for appointments in case we can’t immediately find a time slot that suits you.
You can also book an appointment in Geneva, Yverdon or Meyrin at one of our CHD locations in Switzerland.
Is it possible to make an appointment for an emergency?
Same-day emergency appointments are available from 7h to 21h.
The purpose of an emergency appointment is to:
– Relieve dental pain quickly
– Prevent the spread of pathology and complications
– Plan further treatment if necessary
– Enable the patient to chew properly as soon as possible
